A Jane Austen Literary Lunch with Paula Byrne

I heard Paula Byrne speak back in 2014 when she wrote 'The Real Jane Austen' so am thrilled to have persuaded her to come to The Bookshop. Each ticket includes a hardback edition of Byrne's new novel 'Six Weeks by the Sea'. This takes the idea that Jane Austen may herself have fallen in love one Summer holiday in Sidmouth. If not, how else can she have written some of the greatest romances of all time? Paula Bryne has crafted a compelling story against the backdrop of Austen's life and times (more info below).

When you book your ticket(s) you will be asked to choose between a mediterranean chicken salad or haloumi salad, and a raspberry sorbet or sticky toffee pudding (for each person). You will also be given the option to mention anyone you would like to sit with.
