About the event

In 2021, Roger Morgan-Grenville embarked on a two year project to tell the extraordinary story of how

one man’s aspiration to bring back the grey partridge led to a Sussex estate

changing its entire land management strategy, and resulted in an unprecedented

surge in plant, insect and bird numbers and varieties. This human account of how it

was achieved, and how the various challenges were overcome is also a passionate

advertisement for food production, conservation and sport working in harmony.
